Just made my first ever button chicken from the recipe on the website, my query is that the ingredients mention black cumin seeds and black/green cardamom pods but they're not mentioned in the instructions, can anyone help?
The recipe without is marinating in the slow cooker right now but maybe I could add the missing afterwards if recommended?

Sorry Emma, that was an omission. They should be added to hot oil, at step two. If you have already switched the cooker on, just heat a tsp. oil in a ladle, add these and once the seeds crackle/splutter. pour over the chicken.

I've not yet cooked the Butter Chicken, I needed some Mango Powder, which I bought today. It's on the list though.
Don't have any dried Methi leaves, but today I bought a fresh bunch (60p). I wonder if I could chuck some finely chopped fresh Methi in?
