Hi Mamta,

Yesterday, for the first time I baked a bread loaf from nan dough and I could not believe its taste, it was fantabulous. The family devoured the loaf and demanded for more, so tonight i am baking again. Many thanks to you.

I have made 4 breads today. they are easy and nice, aren't they. You can thank Dan Lepard for the 'easy bread' idea used in this bread.

Hello,

From the instructions on the website I have a couple of questions:-

  1. Mix water, milk, yoghurt and yeast in a jug and leave while you get everything else measured, about 15 minutes.

  1. Make a well in the centre of the flour and add yoghurt and oil/ghee

If I have already mixed the water, milk and yohurt and yeast in a jug, where does this extra yoghurt come from? Or do you mix a cup of yoghurt in a jug and a cup in the flour?

Sorry I might be reading this incorrectly but I really want to try this

Hello Em

You are quite correct, step 3 should not be there. Unfortunately I can not carry out any changes to recipes at present, the editing is locked for about a month. I have made a not of it and will sort it out one day. Thank you for pointing it out.

Thank you, should I just ignore that part then and continue with mixing everything together in the jug?

its usual when baking to mix all the wet ingredients together, and the dry ones separately, and then combine. This way you get more even mixing.

If this recipe uses dry yeast, it may be best to get this going beforehand.

I mix warm milk / water /sugar in a cup and add yeast until it "fluffs". Yogurt I add when kneading the dough. Salt I mixed with the dry flour. If the dough is dry then i add more warm milk /water.

Cheers
