Hi Ma

Glad you had a good time!

Today I was at Taste of London during afternoon, and at a talk by jellymongers Bompas and Parr in the evening.

On Saturday I am going to the show, but have been invited by Miele who are getting a few bloggers to participate in the Masterchef Invention Test. Plus we'll be doing some kind of class with Miele in the afternoon.

Hope I have some time to look around rest of the show!

It was something like this;

I just came back from BBC Good Food and the Gardener?s World Show at the NEC, courtesy BBC, who sent me a couple of complimentary tickets. It was really nice. Apart from all the stalls and food tasting, which was mostly good (one or two not so good at all), the gardening section was also very good. There were many stalls by various plant/flower suppliers. It reminded me of the Chelsea Flower shows of the 70s somewhat. I was very restrained, bought only a few seeds packets, mostly because I had no desire to lug them across to the car park.

My friend and I bought tickets for Monty Don?s 10 am show when we arrived. He mostly talked about his next TV show that he has recorded about Italian gardens. He had time to answer only a couple of gardening questions.

We had also bought tickets for the 4.30 food theatre show by Hairy Bikers, everything else earlier than that was sold out. As we were wondering around, we saw them doing another, earlier demonstration in their ?open? theatre kitchen, where non-ticket holders were also watching from outside the fencing rope. So, we did too, for a while. We then gave our tickets to a couple of older ladies, for them to enjoy the 4.30 show, in the comfort of second row seats, with our compliments. We left early and were home by 4.30, just about the time ?our? show would have been starting.

All in all, it was a good day. If anyone is planning to go (it is there for another 4 days), it was a fun day, go for it! It was soooooooooooo crowded, I can't imagine what it will be like on the weekend, when Kavey is going.
