This is a question for Mamta...I am making barfi this weekend, can you tell me how long the sweet keeps in an air tight containers, e.g. 1 week, 1 month? I look forward to your response. Thank you.

If you are making them from tinned condensed milk, they will last for a couple of weeks, without fridge. Mawa burfi will probably go 'off' sooner, if kept in a warm room. I suggest you keep them in the fridge and take out for an hour or so before you serve. Most Barfies will freeze quite well too.
