First, great site.
Can I bake pakoras? If yes what's the best way to go about it. Doctors have advised to stay off oily food but I love my pakoras.
If you are going to bake pakoras, you will have to add some oil to them. Even then, they will not come out as crisp as they do when deep fried. My take on this will be to fry them in hot oil, so they don't absorb too much oil during frying, and then dab them with kitchen towel straight away, before the oil gets absorbed into them. And...eat very few of them...which is easier said than done! I should know!
Thanks for your reply. I have coeliac disease- gluten/wheat allergy. This makes pakoras ideal for me. Are there other good Indian options?
