Do you mean the tiny corn on the cob (baby sweetcorn) ?

I often put them in salad (raw) or they go very well in stirfrys. Work wonderfully in chicken and sweetcorn soup...

Its not a vegetable I'd considered as the main part of any dish though, maybe thats why its not showing up in the search link?

Baby corn is generally used in Chinese cuisine. I do cook it sometimes, I made a chicken stir-fry with corn and mange tout yesterday for a Chinese friend who is in hospital. I often use it with Western type of meals like grilled meats and fish, steamed or stir-fried. I don't have any specific recipes written down at present.

I'm wondering if they could be incorperated into some sort of pakora? Maybe as part of a selection of different vegetable pakoras and a nice spicy dip ?

Mixed Pakoras

I'm sure you could add baby sweetcorn to that.

Yes you can make 'Pakoras' from baby corn Steve, good thinking! I have made/eaten them and they are nice. In fact, you can make pakoras from almost all vegetables, even bitter gourd!
