I have been using this site for about a year. I found it by accident, looking for a recipe for Butter Chicken. I kept coming back to its fail proof recipes. I now use it almost for all my Indian cooking and thought that it was about time I thanked all the people who run this site. Thank you, I have learnt a lot from you.
Belle
I too found it via the site's glossary when I was looking for a word translatation of Imli. No I am hooked and keep coming back!
Thank you for a great, use friendly site!
I'm glad so many people enjoy this site and the hard work that all those involved put into it...
I found the site while trying to find something out much like everyone on here and I can't leave it alone... I've picked up so many hints and tips, and picked so many peoples brains that simply wouldn't have been possible anywhere else...
Big thanks from me to....
Steve

Hi Mamta

C Verma
I believe emblica-officinalis is known as the Gooseberry, Alma, Indian gooseberry
Steve
Hello C Verma
I am eating Amla (in India) pickle as I write :-)! I have not yet found it in any UK shops. I don't really know if it grows in Canada.
Amla is a fruit of a tree and has a stone in it's centre, where as Gooseberry that you have in the West grows on bushes and has small seeds. It is however known as Indian Gooseberry. Look here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amla.
Mamta
Dear Mamta,
I have been using your recipes lately, they are very well written and helpful for a person like me. And such variety.
Thanks a lot, keep up the good work.
Love

Dear Subodh bhayya
Welcome to my site. How is it that you are doing the cooking, Chitra bhabi is such a good cook? I find cooking very relaxing and have taken it up in retirement :-)!
Please feel free to send some of your favourite/unusual/new recipes for inclusion here.
Regards
Mamta
I make a point of telling people about this site. When travelling, you needn't take Indian cookery books with you: you can just access this site!
Wonderful!
Phil
I think we all tell people about this site, I'm always pointing links back to it and sending out emails etc....
When you find something really useful and some of the best recipes that work, you can't help but share them..
