Chinese Exporters have been manipulating the price by stock piling it (as a result the garlic price has gone up proportionally more than gold!)

however, the good news is, the price will have to come down late autumn as the stock piled garlic will need to be sold before it rots and is overtaken by the new next season's crop

I love Aldi. We get all our groceries from there once a week. Got my slow cooker from there too - only $40 - BARGAIN!. The meats excellent and always fresh fruit and vegies. And the best bit is we save money by shopping there.
