If you search bhaji in the search facility on the top of each page you will come up with many dry curries made from a whole array of vegetables that make excellent accompaniments.
These are distinct from pakora/bhajis which are deep fried in a flour batter.

Hmm. Not so sure about the pakoras. They're generally made with gram flour which "might" (I stress the word) be low-carb. I know chickpeas certainly are.
Guest, there's no reason a low-carber can't enjoy great Indian food. Roast some tandoori chicken and serve with dal or chana masala (for protein & good carbs) and one or two vegetable dishes, like an aubergine bhaji. Or stir-fry some green beans and broccoli with ginger, curry leaves and mustard seeds. A feast! You won't miss rice or bread.
would you say why you need no carbs, (not prying, but it may help us). Agree chickpeas (Bengal chana) is very low on the GI. Also note that root veg such as carrots and parsnips are very high on the GI because they are starch stores, which is hydrolysed to glucose on heating.
