I deleted a folder of 'mamtaskitchen' related mails, saved to deal with as I get time. Some were recipes by readers for me to try. If anyone who is waiting to hear from me in this regard, please send your recipes again, I have lost them!

I emptied the bin too, along with 'sent' and 'in' box, DOH! So they are all gone!

Don't ask, I do this sort of thing occasionally!!

you may get them back if you do a restore to before you erased them.

Depending on what you have deleted them from and what mail server you have, you might be able to recover deleted emails (in outlook/outlook express I seem to remember that its under a menu heading on the deleted box)

No, you can't get them back from google, I have checked. I will survive. Only I don't want people to think that they took the trouble to send me their recipe and I ignored them!

Mum, lot of folks don't use the forum, perhaps add a news article on home page advising that you accidentally lost some emails and would appreciate any that have not had a respond resend them to you if possible.
