Hello,

I would like to make chicken tikka kebab for a party. My question is that can I cook the whole kebab before and then reheat before the party? HowdoI reheat so the chicken does not get dry and rubbery? Really look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Hemna

Its never a good idea to reheat chicken, as you must heat it right through to a high temperature again.. This means they are going to dry up... It might be better to make them up ready the night before, seal them in a container and put them in the fridge. This way you could cook them on the day rather than reheat...

I agree with Steve, reheating never quite does it. In 'pro food parlance', it's called 'warmed over flavour', not good.

Give your guests a treat, not poor food and not food poisoning!

I agree too. ?Dry or without gravy? Chicken dishes can never taste the same when re-heated. It is best to marinate them the night before, leave in the fridge in an airtight container, spread them out on a tray before the guests arrive and keep them ready. Then heat the oven fully, cook them just before srving.

If you are making recipe number 10133, it does not have any pictures at present. If possible, please take a few and send them to me via the contact link above.
