
This is another popular raita, often served in Indian restaurants, perhaps because it is so simple to make. Serves 4-6

Ingredients
| | 2 cups natural yoghurt (or Sour cream for special occasions) |
| | 1 small red onion, finely chopped/sliced |
| | 1 medium tomato-seeds removed and finely chopped |
| | 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber (kheera or kakri) |
| | 2 green chillies, finely chopped (optional, but they are nice) |
| | 1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves |
| | 1 tbsp. chopped mint leaves |
| | Salt to taste |
| | 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground roast cumin seeds. |
| | 1/4 tsp. coarsely ground roast cumin seeds for garnish |
| | Optional |
| | 1/2 red chilli for garnish |
| | 1 chopped carrot |
Instructions
| 1. | To make, mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and transfer to a serving bowl. |
| 2. | Garnish with a sprinkle of roast cumin and chopped red chilli and mint/coriander leaves. |
| 3. | Serve chilled. |
Notes
| | You can add other salad vegetables like carrots, radishes, avocados etc. |
