Mint Raita 3, With Fresh Mint Leaves and Onions (Yoghurt)

This raita is suitable for a hot summer day because it is very refreshing. It can be served as a dip too. It is very easy and quick to make. Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 2 cups natural yoghurt or dahi

  • 2 tbs. fresh mint leaves, washed and finely chopped

  • 1 medium (100 gm) onion, peeled and finely chopped. Red onion is nicer.

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/4 tsp. chilli powder

  • 1/2 cumin seeds

Instructions

  1. Dry fried cumin seeds in a wok, cool and coarsely gound.

  2. BePlace yoghurt in a bowl land beat lightly.

  3. Add all ingredients and mix.

  4. Sprinkle a little roast cumin on top too.

  5. Serve chilled.
