Corn Raita (Yoghurt)

This is a very quick recipe to make, especially if you used precooked, tinned corn.

Ingredients

  • 240 gm. or 8 oz. plain yoghurt

  • 240 gm. or 8 oz. tin of kernel of corn or bhutta dana, drained

  • 1 small tomato-seeded and chopped

  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds-dry roasted and coarsely ground

  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper

  • 2 tbsp. fresh coriander leaves-chopped

  • 1 green chilli chopped

  • 1 small, red onion, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat yoghurt lightly.

  2. Add and mix all ingredients together and place in a serving bowl.

  3. Garnish with a few chopped coriander leaves.

  4. Chill and serve.
