Hi Mamta - hope you are well.

Cooking your Chicken pasanda recipe for dinner tonight with your Raita and Kachumbar on the side. Looking forward to it.

I know it doesnt say so at step 4, but wouldnt you brown the chicken with its marinade for a little while before adding the water and then putting the lid on?

It is probably too late for you, chicken already cooked, but just got up and saw your mail. You could brown/seal the chicken Steve, but it doesn't seem to make much difference to the end result.

Hi Mamta - thanks for replying, but yeah, it was well and truly eaten by then lol. It was great too. I did end up giving it a bit of a stir for a few minutes before adding the water and putting the lid on.
