introduction

Hi there, I've just discovered this website and I am so happy! I am making a curry tonight based on curry #1. I call it a "Frankenstein" curry because I am using things I have around, like leftover rotisserie chicken, frozen cauliflower, and peas. I am excited about trying to make real Indian dishes. I love Indian food but have never known how to make it. The only thing I've ever tried is curry.

Is there a way to search the forum? I have some questions but don't want to ask things you've probably been asked 100 times.

Welcome to MamtasKitchen MrsJennyK :-) Glad you have found us..hope you stop around (most of us found it like yourself and can't get away ! lol )

Answer - yes there is a search facility but its for recipes not the forum side of things, look at the row of reddish buttons above "home,About,News,SEARCH,Forums,Shop, Advice, Learning, Contact..."

but feel free to ask away on here, in this post or in a new post with a more specific title to make future searching easier....

First of all, let me welcome you here. I am glad you have found our little community of friends.

Forum does not have a search facility yet, but this is what I do; put the word I am searching for and mamtaskitchen forum in google. It often gets me the result.

I don't know how difficult it is to have search facility here for looking for old threads, but if it is not too time consuming, Pete might be able to do it one day when he gets a little free time. We did talk about it once or twice and he does what he can when possible. He has made so many changes behind the scene, bless him :-)!

Hi JennyK,

This is a fabulous resource and very well personally supported by Mamta & her family, and the forum members are great. Just ask away. If the question has already been asked already then we might be able to update the thread!

Welcome,

Martin

Thank you for the welcome! The curry I made from the basic recipe here was good, but I think I still need help with some steps. I'll start new threads for those.
