Being keen to sample something new I bought a chicken Rada from Asda curry counter. It tasted nothing like any curry I haver ever tasted. Can anyone give me any idea what it is or is it just something that someone has made up. Thank you

Never heard of it Alicean, probably a name in langiage other than Hindi!

Thank you for your input. I am sure it wasn't the same curry that is served at the restaurant, I'm sure their version is excellent. What I had was quite runny and tasted strongly of aniseed and little else. I suspect the chef may have called it after him or herself as I understand Rada can be a surname as in Reuben Rada the musician.
